Kennedy Agyapong’s first son, Kenneth Takyi Agyapong, the founder of the Afrochella festival organized every December in Ghana to project African Art, has in a new viral video revealed how strict his father is.
In an interview on the Dentaa show, the politician and business mogul’s son revealed how his father had asked an immigration officer to charge him any penalties required after he had overstayed his visa.
He explained that in his first visit to Ghana from the US somewhere in 2014, he unknowingly overstayed his visa and got stranded at the airport upon departure.
He said that after interacting with an immigration officer he disclosed that he was Kennedy Agyapong’s son and had to call his dad for assistance.
The Member of Parliament after speaking to both the Immigration officer and his son asked the officer to charge Kenneth with any penalty required. To his amazement, Kenneth ended up paying $500 as a penalty before he was allowed to get on his flight.
Kenneth mentioned that his dad, Kennedy Agyapong, was the last person to misuse his position and power. He claimed that this story clearly showed how strict and disciplined his dad was.
