Highlife musician and former mentor 1 contestant Okuraseni Samuel has added his voice to the several Ghanaians wondering why Veteran Amakye Dede would crown Lynx entertainment signee Kuami Eugene as the King of Highlife at the just ended 2019 VGMAs.
According to some people, Amakye Dede has no right to crown Kuami Eugene as the King when he himself(Amakye Dede) has never been crowned King of the genre by anyone.
But Okuraseni Samuel has also taken it through a different direction and stated that Kuami Eugene’s label mate Kidi is a better Highlife artiste and those in the genre knows it themselves.

According to Okuraseni Samuel, he doesn’t understand why a big person in the genre like Amakye Dede who knows everything about the Highlife genre would crown Kuami Eugene when Kidi is much better.
