King Promise’s manager, Killbeatz’s cheeky reply to the Ghana Music Awards shows he has an underlying disaffection for the organizers.
On his birthday, the Twitter account of the Ghana Music Awards tweeted his photos and added a long birthday message to them.
The birthday message read:
Happy Birthday to a Superstar. Many more years to witness in good health, wealth, happiness, peace, love, success and joy. Hope you have a 5 star celebration. What is your favorite @IamKingPromise song? Tag him and send your best wishes.
Killbeatz’s reply to the message leaked how dissatisfied he has been over the years with how the award scheme is organized and how unfairly King Promise is treated.

The “Selfish” hitmaker has always failed to win deserving awards at the VGMA. Even when he is nominated in categories where he has a better chance of winning, the award eludes him in some way.
King Promise has been bottling anger and disappointment. On his birthday, looking at all the sweet words from the Ghana Music Awards, his manager only had to explode by giving a cheeky reply.
“We hear. “Thank you” were the words of King Promise’s manager. The words are pregnant with a huge message, and fans have been reacting. Many believe that was King Promise’s way of telling Ghana Music Awards to treat him better by giving him awards he deserves no birthday wishes.
