Kim Kardashian ”Could Bleed to Death” If She Gets Pregnant Again: ”It Wouldn’t Be Safe,” Say Doctors Who Suggest Surrogacy
Seems Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are considering hiring a surrogate to have a third child.
And On this Sunday’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim explored the idea of surrogacy after meeting with two doctors who told her it “wouldn’t be safe” for her to get pregnant again.
During Kim’s first two pregnancies, she experienced “difficulties” and if she were to get pregnant again it would be considered a “high-risk pregnancy.”
“You could bleed to death,” Kris Jenner told Kim on the episode.
On the episode, Kim revealed that she’s been thinking about having a third baby, but she is concerned about carrying another child because she experienced difficulties with her first two pregnancies.
“Lately I’ve been thinking I would love to maybe have another baby,” Kim says. “But like I had two really difficult pregnancies and really difficult deliveries so getting pregnant again it’s something that does concern me.”
Doctors Tell Kim Getting Pregnant Again Wouldn’t Be “Safe”:
Kim and Kris meet with OB/GYN Dr. Paul Crane to discuss the idea of Kim having a third child. During their meeting, Kris asks the doctor if Kim’s body could “withstand” a third pregnancy.
“Here’s what I think, your pregnancies, you had toxemia, you had a retained placenta, very traumatic, we’re always worried about the next serious complication,” Dr. Crane explains. “I think the potential fear of the whole situation is legitimate.”
Dr. Crane continues, “You never know that you might not have the same type of problem that might be more serious this time. You’re always taking a little bit of a chance. There are situations where retained placenta could be life and death.”
“You could bleed to death,” Kris tells Kim.
