Disturbing new details have emerged regarding the tragic murder of KNUST student Joana, allegedly at the hands of her boyfriend, Daniel.
A close source has confirmed that Daniel refused to leave Joana alone after the deceased emphatically told him she was no longer interested in their affair just last month.
Concerned about his daughter’s well-being, Joana’s father stepped in and warned Daniel to leave his daughter alone.
In an audio recording, a friend of the deceased has also disclosed that Joana had confided in her about being physically assaulted by Daniel on two separate occasions.
Despite this, she expressed her love for him and chose to forgive him.

Two days before the fatal incident, Joana had reported her phone stolen to KNUST security.
On the night of the incident, the couple had been studying at the Biological Sciences Library and left between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. along with two colleagues who later parted ways.
During their walk back to their hostel, an argument ensued between Joana and Daniel. Overcome by rage, Daniel reportedly pushed Joana to the ground, pressed his knee on her neck for two minutes, and strangled her to death.
Realizing the gravity of his actions, Daniel shook Joana’s lifeless body for several minutes before dragging it to the Centre for Disability. He sat beside her remains for 14 minutes before stealing her laptop, which he later hid behind the Flint Hostel.
Shockingly, he returned the next morning to sit for his exams wearing the same shirt he had used while committing the crime.
The police continue their investigation, and authorities have assured the public of swift justice in this heartbreaking case.
