The news just broke that Kofi B born Kofi Boakye Yiadom, the popular highlife artist from Ghana has died.

According to reports gathered by Ghpage.com, Kofi B who has electrified Ghanaians and the world with his powerful songs died after a short illness.

As of now, the exact ailment has not been determined but Ghpage.com gathered it was the same sickness that finally killed him.

Many of his fans have been wailing on social media since the shocking news went viral.

Although coming from a family with a great liking for music, Kofi B always wanted to be a lawyer growing up.

Kofi B lost his father at the tender age of 5. Coming from a poor family, the legend took to hawking on the streets at a very young age.

With the deep love for highlife music, Kofi B took inspirations from Kojo Antwi, Amakye Dede, the late Opambour and his mentor and close friend, Ofori Amponsah.
