The founder and CEO of the Consumer Rights Protection Agency Kofi Kapito has come under massive attack after a sexually suggestive comment he made towards Serwaa Amihere of GhOne TV at the just ended RTP Awards.
Kofi Kapito while presenting the TV Female Newscaster of the year award to Serwaa Amihere said to her; “Serwaa Amihere look at your butts. Nice”.
The media personality who felt sexually harassed and disrespected over this statement took to social media to express her disappointment.
She tweeted; “I had so much respect for Mr. Kofi Kapito. This is a classic case of sexual harassment. I’m appalled by his utterances. This was needless and completely disrespectful”

The just ended RTP Awards held on 12th October 2019 at the Accra International Conference Centre saw several media personalities being awarded.
Nana Aba Anamoah who is the news editor at GhOne TV won the TV Development Show Host of the year and the Radio and TV Personality of the year.
Serwaa Amihere who is also a news anchor at GhOne TV won the TV Female Newscaster of the year.
