Kojo Oppong Nkrumah fired for using the term ‘Papa no’ in parliament

The minister of Information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has been fired on social media after he used the new term in town ‘Papa no’ during a serious debate in Parliament.

Hon. Oppong Nkrumah who was speaking on the floor of parliament following the debate on the 1billion Dollars minerals royalties agreement used the term to back his point.

The act which didn’t go down well with some Ghanaians took to social media to bash him for making such a statement in parliament.

“Mr. Speaker, I want to encourage our colleagues on the other side, I want to encourage my good friend who just spoke. In my home town, we will say PAPA NO. I want to encourage PAPA NO to take some time and follow the structure of this conversation. I thank you, Mr. Speaker, for the opportunity,” he said.
