Remember on the night of the Vodafone Ghana Music 2019, Veteran Highlife artiste Amakye Dede crowned Lynx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene as the King of Highlife music a move that angered some music lovers.
Well, its been months since the incident happened by one person who is still unhappy about the whole thing is “Choco mu cho” hitmaker Bless.
According to Bless born Bless Kwabena Boateng in an interview with GhPage TV explained that Ghana’s highlife genre has not gotten to the stage where they should be crowning people as king or whatever.
He went on say it’s only a king who is allowed to crown a king and since no one crowned Amakye Dede as King of Highlife he didn’t see why he would in return crown someone else.

Bless also in the interview disclosed that many people wondered why he(Bless) wasn’t the one given the title but he has always been of the view that he can’t take a title in the genre when the genre itself is not that strong in the music industry.
