Lynx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene has paid a courtesy visit the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to present the awards he won at the VGMA to him. Kuami Eugene shared this photo on his Instagram page with a very humbling caption.
He captioned it: “Went back Home to Say thank you to The National Chief Imam of Ghana #MoreBlessingAhead #RockStar?.” His gesture has touched the heart of many of his fans and followers on Instagram who showered praises on him.

Kuami Eugene has said on many occasions that he grew up in Old Fadama, a popular slum in Accra. However, since he became a music star some many months ago, he relocated to Achimota, also in Accra.

It is therefore humbling on his part that in his glory, he has remembered his root and returned there to share the new glory with them. Kuami Eugene won two awards at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs). He won the ‘New Artiste of the Year’ and ‘Hiplife Song of the Year’ with his hit song ‘Angela’. He also dedicated the awards to his dear mom for her undying love for him.
