Instead, she was flaming the fire and even encouraged people to share the video because does not care. This was what infuriated the male members in her family. After some slaps, her hair was shaved completely off.

According to the Tamp3 Kukuo youth chief who led the assault, they are doing this to send message to the people of Tamale that Kulu comes from a family and they won’t allow anyone to disrespect their family base on her actions.

”We want people to know that you have a family, you have a mother and father…we can’t allow such shame in our house. We also want by this tell your colleagues that you can’t just do whatever you want and get away with it”

After that, Kulu and her boyfriend received 12 strokes of lashes each from Naa Bawa Fuseini, the Dakpema of Tamale.

Again, they are to provide two rams and some fouls as a sacrifice to cleanse the land of what Dakpema of Tamale described as “sacrilege act”

Justifying his action, Naa Bawa Fuseini revealed that the flogging and demands are meant to deter others from doing the same. He vowed any other indecent activity from people in the metropolis will be dealt with in a similar manner from now onwards.
