Kwabenya police station attack: Wife of the killed officer has this to say about her husband’s death

The wife of Inspector Emmanuel Ashilevi the police officer who was killed last Saturday when armed robbers storm the Kwabenya Police Station and freed 7 members of their gang who had earlier been arrested has spoken.

6 Ghanaians and 1 Nigerian were the gang members who were freed when the Police Station was attacked.

The Commander who was in charge of the station that night, Inspector Emmanuel Ashilevi, unfortunately, was gun down by the robbers during the attack.

Days after the Inspector was gun down, the wife of the late police officer has spoken. Speaking with the Multimedia Group, the woman expressed shock with the news that her husband has passed.

According to Mrs. Esther Kpekpe Ashilevi, she was still expecting her husband to return from work so that they can both go to church only be confronted with such a heartbreaking news.

Mrs. Esther Kpekpe Ashilevi called on the authorities to quickly bring the perpetrators to book. She also called on the government to help cater for their 5 children since their breadwinner has been taken away from them.
