Odarkie Andy of TV3’s Mentor 1 fame has accused Ghanaian actor cum musician, Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin of claiming ownership of his song, ‘Ayeyi” which he has also threatened to take him to court.

He made this assertion in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM.

Andy said he will drag LilWin and his team at Weezy Empire to court if the right thing is not done.

He continued that, though he wrote the song, he would have agreed on a co-ownership with the actor if he had already informed him and not to claim full ownership of a song he composed.

The first runner-up of Tv3’s maiden edition of mentor added, Lilwin without informing him, released the audio and the cover art in a WhatsApp group he is part of.

Odarkkie Andy further explained that “Ayeyi” song was recorded when preparations to be signed on by Weezy empire was underway— Which the signing never materialized after recording the song with the comic actor.

In a reaction to Odarkie’s accusations, Lilwin said, it is Andy who had been looking for him to feature on his song.

He continued that Andy was searching for him until he finally got hold of him which they all went to one engineer in Kumasi,925.

He said they recorded that Ayeyi song that same day which is even two years ago.

He revealed he had plans of helping Andy but had to stop because of Andy’s bad smoking habit of Indian hemp which he believed was denigrating his Lilwin brand.

This is not the first time the actor had been accused of stealing a song. Patapaa Amisty a few months ago accused him of trying to steal his song, “One Corner”.

According to the One Corner hitmaker, Lilwin approached him for a collaboration for the remix of the song but it was an attempt for a complete takeover of the song. When he refused, Lilwin released his own version of the song and titled it” Corner Corner”.
