Ghana marked her 61st independence birthday on last Tuesday and the whole week has been Independence week as Ghanaians have been celebrating the event in different ways.

Although many people have been grieving base on Ghana’s lackadaisical development, others have been appreciating where we have traveled from to reach where we are today.
Well, some fans of Shatta movement are also showing the Independence spirit and one of them has created a funny video of our Independence Day.

The video shows Kwame Nkrumah and Ghanaians on 6th March 1957, dancing to Shatta Wale’s ‘Freedom’ after Independence was announced.
