The Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper Alhaji Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako has sued loudmouth politician and the member of Parliament for Assin North Hon. Kennedy Agyapong GHC 25 million for defaming him.
The respected journalist is accusing the NPP scribe of using his own media platforms Net 2 TV and Oman FM as well as Multimedia’s Adom TV to telling lies about his hard-won reputation.
The writ copied said among other things, Kennedy Agyapong called Mr. Kwaku Baako ‘corrupt’ and dishonest’.

“You [referring to the plaintiff], Anas and your lawyer, yeah, they are real evil guys [referring to the plaintiff and Anas] … Kweku Baako will collapse NPP’s government should he allow it. Have you seen what he started with Charlotte Osei…?” The statement said.
It also went on to state that, on 24 July 2018, during a discussion on Adom TV’s morning show Badwam hosted by Omanhene Kwabena Asante, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong is alleged to have said more things.
Kennedy Agyapong has so far responded to the claims by Kwaku Baako and has even threatened to strip Mr. Baako naked. He also said 25 million relief been sought by Mr Baako is a chicken change to him.
Kennedy Agyapong has been sued by three other people who have accused him of defaming them in a manner not different from what Kweku Baako is in court over.
