At a time when Ghanaians are clamouring for the immediate dissmisal of Kwesi Appiah, over the very abysmal performance of the Black Stars at the recently ended AFCON held in Egypt, rumours are circulating that the contract of the embattled coach is being renewed for two years more.

Reports sighted by ghpage.com seems to suggest that the president had a word with the coach centred on knowing the way forward regarding the coach’s standing point with the Black Stars.

It is reported that they reached a conclusion that the coach’s contract will be renewed before it expires in December 2019.

Despite the severe backlash regarding his coaching performance and it’s overall influence on the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah has been hailed by key industry players who have called for his retainment regardless of his performance at recently ended tournaments.

One of the people who opine that coach Kwesi Appiah be retained is Nii Kwartei Titus Glove, Deputy Minister for Transport.

He strongly believes that coach Kwesi Appiah should be given another chance to help Ghana win the AFCON trophy despite his woeful attempt at recently ended tournament.

Should the report be indeed true, it would no doubt cause a massive outrage as many Ghanaians have made it clear that Kwesi Appiah should be kicked to the curb due the fact that they doubt his coaching skills.

Do you think Kwesi Appiah’s contract should be renewed or do you think the Black Stars need a new coach to lead them to win the AFCON trophy and subsequently the World Cup?
