The CID department of the Ghana police service has seized the cellphones and laptops belonging to President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Kwesi Nyantakyi reported himself to the police on the same day, after he cut short a trip to Morocco in order to face charges levelled against him.
He is reported to have defrauded some people under false pretences and is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service (GPS).

But while a lot of attention has been devoted to the substantive case, little has been said on the possible effects it will have on Nyantakyi’s family especially his second wife whom he married about 10 months ago.
Because apart from the possible jail term, her husband’s reputation will suffer a jolt even if he is able to beat this scandal as he has often done and life will never be the same.
With just about two months to her first wedding anniversary, Mariama would be thinking about where and how to celebrate and not about a possible jail term for her husband. She, undoubtedly, must be one of the unhappiest people in Ghana right now.

The long-time devoted Muslim got married to Mariama Sannie, a 23-year old graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
