Since yesterday, the most trending news in Ghana is the report that the president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo has ordered the arrest of the president of Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi for defrauding by false pretence.
According to the report, the president after watching the yet to be released latest corruption exposé by the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas ordered for the arrest of Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service (CID), released a statement regarding the search for ‘Wanted’ Ghana FA Capo Kwesi Nyantekyi.
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwasi Nyantakyi, who was at Morocco during the allegation levelled against him has reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service in relation to ongoing investigations into corruption allegations levelled against him.
Mr Nyantakyi, who arrived in the country today from CAF assignments in Morocco and Egypt, went to the CID Headquarters in Accra following a report made by President Nana Akufo-Addo that the GFA boss used his name and office fraudulently.
