After weeks of silence, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi the embattled former Ghana Football Association President has reacted to GFA Exposé nicknamed Number 12 which was first premiered on 6th June.
The Anas GFA Exposé has sent shock waves through almost every Ghanaian ever since it was screen in major cities of Ghana. Over 50 referees and match officials were captured on video taking various sums of money to either fix matches or influence match outcomes.
The president of the Ghana football association was captured receiving a bribe of $65,000 from “Saudi Arabia Investors” and also scheming to bribe the president of Ghana and other high profiled personalities for contracts.
The Attorney General has since taken steps to have GFA dissolved and has even secured an injunction from the high court to halt all the football activities.
Kwesi Nyantakyi himself has resigned as the president of the association after FIFA, the world football governing body suspended him, a member of the executive committee of the FIFA for 90 days pending investigation. He has also resigned as CAF Vice president.
According to him, Anas stitched together different conversations he had with the so-called investors who turned out to be tiger Eye PI team.
Nyantakyi also accused Anas of demanding $150,0000 to stop airing the investigation he conducted on him. Failing to pay the blackmail money, Anas premiered the video.
He also talked about the fact that he never discussed anything about bribing the presidency when he met the investors. That conversation was stitched togther. He also revealed Anas never gave him $65K AS he wants people to believe. He gave him $40K and it was reimbursement for the cost he had incurred from his trips to Qatar to meet the Sheik.
He ended by requesting Ghanaian to seek the real video from Anas without the editing to know the real truth about how it was all schemed to disgrace him.
