One of the angry Zongo youth who stormed the church premises of Owusu Bempah has reported himself to the police to help assist them to continue investigations into an attack on the church premises of the Glorious Word Power Church following death prophecies pronounced by its founder Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah.
Some angry Zongo youth in Accra on 2nd December 2019 stormed the church of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah over his prophecy that Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu will die this year.

The cutlass-wielding youth numbering about 15 were seen breaking the church billboards at the entrance shouting insults in the Hausa language.
According to the Greater Accra Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Afia Tenge, the suspect who is assisting in investigations voluntarily reported himself to the police following a visit to the crime scene by the Accra Region Police Commander confessing that he’s one of the irate youth who vandalized properties at the church of Owusu Bempah.
