Legendary: There are some new fabrics in town & they have been named after Shatta Wale’s hit songs

I know in the past, songs life “Aben wo ha” by Daddy Lumba and few other songs from other artist were used to name fabrics. But undoubtedly, this is the first time an artist’s 3 solid songs have been used to name new fabrics.

Ever since The Dancehall King Shatta Wale rebranded from Bandana into the new Dancehall commando, he has been soaring higher and higher by the day.

Amazingly he has never failed to release a banger within a month. The guy is indeed a true living legend by all standard.

He is topping music charts all over Ghana and Africa. His songs are the most played songs on the radio and at every social gathering.

It was no wonder he has been rewarded by fabric dealers in the country by naming 3 new fabrics after his hit songs. The market women chose “Sergeant Lee”, “Taking Over” and “Kakai” as the names they prefer.
