Ghanaian film producer and director, Leila Djansi has thrown a shot at the wealth that was in full display at the traditional and white wedding of Dr. Osei Kwame Despite’s son, Kennedy Osei and his wife Tracy Gyamfua Ameyaw.
With all the praises and admirations for the display of wealth by Ghanaians at the wedding, Leila Djansi has a different opinion.

According to the award-winning Ghanaian movie producer, expensive beads don’t shout. Meaning the Despites may not be as rich as they displayed at Kennedy and Tracy’s wedding.
She made this statement in a quoted tweet to popular blogger Ameyaw Debrah, asking the blogger to advise his followers not to be intimidated by others’ display of wealth such as seen at Kennedy and Tracy’s wedding.
She Tweeted: “Ameyaw tell your followers: Do not let anyone show of wealth makes you think you are poor! Expensive beads don’t shout”

Kennedy and his fiance had their traditional marriage on the 13th February 2020 at the Trasaco valley and white wedding at the Faith Presbyterian Church, on 25 February at Shiashi in Accra.
