Argentina bow out of 2018 World Cup after 3-4 loss to France

After knocking the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a heartbreaking manner out of the ongoing 2018 World Cup in Russia, the star-studded France team have done justice to Lionel Messi and his team to ‘kill’ their dreams of qualify for the next round of the competition.

Kylian Mbappe wrote his name in history books as the 19-year-old scored a brace to crush Lionel Messi’s World Cup dreams and send France to the quarter-finals stage.

Argentina tried her best at injury time when Sergio Aguero scored another goal to bring the score to 3-4 but unfortunately for the South Americans, this is where their Journey of the FIFA World cup ends.

France will play either Uruguay or Portugal in the quarter-finals on Friday, July 6 at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
