One thing we know about Kennedy Agyapong is that he is a staunch critic of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Assin Central member of parliament in a recent interview on Okay FM expressed his fondness for the former first lady, Lodina Mahama giving accounts on how Lordina Mahama had openly declared her love and affection for him.
“The former First Lady has already intimated that in the absence of her husband John Mahama, the next person she would ‘marry’ is the NPP politician and businessman. Mrs Mahama confessed to her husband that she admired Kennedy Agyapong to the extent that she sarcastically would want to marry him if he (John Mahama) was not around,”

According to Kennedy Agyapong, his relationship with the former First family is superb adding that but for politics, they were the best of friends. It is for this reason that Kennedy Agyapong never wants to delve into the affairs of the Mahama family.
Kennedy Agyapong revealed how Mahama even asked him (Kennedy) if indeed he knows he was his (Mahama’s) rival.
