Popular Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay signed under Rufftown records has vent out her frustrations on her twitter page after she lost a deal with a foreign alcoholic beverage company worth $1,000.
According to her, she was denied the deal by the Food & Drugs Authority in line with their (FDA) policy that bans Ghanaian celebrities to take up ambassadorial deals or advertising for/with any alcoholic beverage company in compliance with the World Health Organization (WHO) policy on celebrity endorsement.

The Food and Drugs Board policy was actualized in 2015. Following the decline of her deal, FDA issued a report and pointed out in their report that was sent directly to Wendy Shay that, because of her influence on youth, advertising for alcoholic beverages would certainly lead to alcohol abuse.
FDA Statement to Wendy Shay:
Wendy Shay who couldn’t hold her frustration on this issue took to her twitter page to furiously pour her heart out.
