Miss Love Newton a.k.a Love has been crowned the winner of the first-ever ‘Di Asa’ Television dance competition organized for plus-size market women.

The television reality show which started with 62 contestants in the Di Asa house has successfully come to an end after the 13 weeks of great dance performances and stunning eviction moments.
The just ended interesting competition was filled with tough and skillful contestants and as that 10 equally-good plus-size market women were faced at the grand finale.
These grand finale contestants include Love-the emerged winner, Mama Gee-the first runner-up, Irene-the second runner-up, ML, Pandy, Bene, Amina, Acid, Lydia, and Rebecca.
The Competitions grand finale which pronounces the end fate of the last 9 contestants was held at the National Theatre in Accra on Sunday 17 December.

Miss Love Newton as the ultimate winner sent home a brand new Suzuki Ciaz saloon car, fully-sponsored trip to Dubai, and souvenirs from the sponsors.
Mama Gee and Irene as the first and second runner-ups also took home a brand new Suzuki Carry pick-up truck (popularly known as Abossey Okai macho) and brand new Apsonic tricycle (commonly known as aboboyaa) respectively to their positions and also souvenirs from the sponsors.
A consolation cash prize of GHc2,000 each was also given to the other finalists as well as souvenirs from sponsors.
More to the competition prizes, Amina as a representative for Tamale was given a special prize of a motorbike, for her memorable periods in the dance competition.

The Di Asa reality show which featured Odiifuo and Ama Gyenfa a.k.a Mb?so?hemaa as the hosts warmly received outstanding performances from great artists like Nii Funny, Odarky Andy, Addi Govnor, Kwame Zaggy, D-Flex and many more.
The well-organized program was powered by Atinka Media Village-(Atinka TV, Atinka 104.7 FM (Accra), Agyenkwa 101.9 FM (Kumasi), and Ahotor 102.3 FM (Takoradi)).
