Actress and socialite, Akuapem Poloo has reminisced about an encounter, a sad one actually she had with colleague award-winning actress Lydia Forson at an award ceremony.
In the actress recollection of the incident, she said Lydia Forson treated her like a piece of trash at the first time they met at the Golden Movie Awards.
Akuapem Poloo in a one-on-one interview on Linkup entertainment show hosted by Mona Gucci on Kantanka TV stated that Lydia Forson’s attitude towards her left her desolate.
Adding that it’s a moment she can never take of memory because she was met by pure hate whiles she was even happy to have seen her wanting to talk with her.
The actress vividly describing how it all happened to the hearing of the host said she was supposed to present an award but Lydia Forson upon hearing that said she will not deliver an award herself if Akuapem Poloo was going to be on the same stage as her.
“..When Lydia Forson saw me at the backstage ready to present the award, she went straight to the organizer and asked him what ‘She doing here?” and he told her I was about to give an award…
“Lydia told the organizer point-blank that If I would partake in giving the award then she better has to go back to the auditorium and sit cos she can’t stand on the same stage with me” Akuapem Poloo narrated.
Akuapem Poloo further in the interview disclosed that the ill-treatment didn’t end there, Lydia Forson on other occasions turned down movie scripts because of her.
Worried Poloo said she’s yet to come to terms with why Lydia Forson lately has acted very weird and cruel to her towards her.
