Lydia Forson reacts to the “No vaccination, No entry” directive

Award-winning Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has slammed the government over their directive of asking Ghanaians who would be attending any event this month to show the vaccination card before entry.

Weeks ago, the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Mark Okraku Mantey stated that the government as a means of curbing the spread of COVID-19 is going to ensure that people provide their vaccination cards when going to any event.

He stated that failure to provide the vaccination card means that, that person won’t be allowed to enter the event venues.

Well, Lydia Forson has finally broken his silence and has questioned if the country is even having enough vaccines available to give Ghanaians who have expressed their willingness to go for the jab.

She posted: “I just read that theyโ€™re making vaccination mandatory in some sectors and proof of vaccination may even be required before entry to some events.

My question is, do we have enough vaccines available to enforce such rules?
