The Veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe popularly known as Maame Dokono was in the news not long ago for making a shocking revelation that she dated David Dontoh at the blindside of Ghanaians for 4 years before they both went their separate ways.
Grace Omaboe shot to fame on the back of Obra, By The Fire Side and a host of other Ghanaian movies back in the day. The veteran actor, David Dontoh equally was the toast of Ghanaians when he featured in Obra and host of popular movies. He was equally the host of Agoro aired on GTV.

In an interview with Bola Ray on Star Chat last week, Maame Dokono revealed that she dated the veteran actor for 4 years before they both went their separate ways despite David Dontoh insisting they carry their relationship further.
Explaining why she called off the affair Maame Dokono stated 3 main reasons why. According to her, She was older than David Dontoh for starters.
Again David Dontoh wanted to have children with her but she couldn’t have it because she had already given birth and didn’t want more children. Thirdly, She had undergone a caesarian section which had made her very weak so she couldn’t have fulfilled David Dontoh’s fantasy of having babies with her.
Touching on her affair with David Dontoh, Maame Dokono said to Bola Ray:
“David Dontoh held me together and handled me well. At that time I was popular, beautiful and many, different men were all over me when I am on stage, so I needed someone to hold me.”
