Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has disclosed that ex-President John Mahama ever since he lost the 2016 elections has been ignoring the numerous calls that he made to him.

The self-acclaimed Dancehall King endorsed the then ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) party with a campaign song and was heard popping from speakers whenever the party was holding an event.
He stormed the final rally of the NDC few days to the election at the Accra Sports Stadium with an epic performance to the happiness of over 40,000 teeming supporters.
President John Mahama, First Lady Lordina Mahama, and other party officials did not wait to show off their dancing skills to the tunes as everybody boogied to their happiness.

However, Shatta Wale speaking with Gattuso on Kasapa 102.5 FM on the ‘Aben Wo Ha’ Show, pleaded with the top officials in the biggest opposition party NDC to alert the Ex-President to consider answering his calls.
“I’VE BEEN CALLING THE EX PRESIDENT AFTER THE ELECTIONS AND HE HASN’T BEEN ANSWERING. I DON’T KNOW THE REASON WHY BUT I BELIEVE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY PUTTING THINGS IN PLACE AFTER THEIR LOST.” HE complained.
Nana Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, October 17 tweeted to wish Shatta Wale a happy birthday in pidgin English and invited him over to the Presidency.

The “Taking Over” hitmaker paid a courtesy visit to the President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House on Wednesday, November 1 and received a gift of Ghana’s Coat of Arms from the president.
