The ‘things we do for love’ actor who has since then starred in several movies and won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2012 has revealed the amount he charges per movie.
According to him, he does not charge in Ghana cedis but rather United States Dollars.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat revealed that he does not take less than 15, 000 dollars ( GHC 66,000)per movie.
He added that the highest amount he has taken for a role in a movie is a whopping $35,000 (Gh155,000).
“I take $15,000 per movie and not cedis,” Majid told the host of Starr Chat Bola Ray Wednesday.
His lead role in the film “Agony of the Christ” in 2008, received several nominations at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009.

Majid Michel has become a household name since he starred in the hit series during the late 90’s “Things we do for love”.

He is married to Virna Michel, and they have two children Kiera Michel, Zara Michel.
