Man busted in church for using Rev. Obofour’s name to fraud miners

A man has been nabbed for using the name of Founder and leader of Anointing Palace Chapel, Reverend Obofour to dupe miners to the tune of 29 million cedis old currency.

According to a the duped man the said fraudster who is a galamseyer came to their town and befriended his brother in law. His brother in law then introduced him to the victim.

One day, the man called me and told me that he was well connected and that he has has been friends with Rev. Obofour for 15 years, he told him that Kumasi boys are unemployed and rascals so he asked him to bring one of his kids so he wil give him a job in the mines.

Narrating the scam him, he said;

He told me that through his connections with Rev. Obofour, he could link me so that my son who just completed polytechnic would have a secured job in the mining industry. For that he charged me 800 cedis ge then charged me another 600 to secure another of my sons a job. He finally asked me to pay an amount of 300 cedis so that a curse placed on my could be lifted”
