Man kills his rich friend who fed and housed him; Absconds with his properties

In Benin city, Edo state, a 30-year-old man named Emmanuel David is on the run after reportedly killing his friend and sponsor, Fabian Antia.

The terrible tragedy occurred on Sunday, January 23, 2022, according to reports.

Emmanuel was squatting with Fabian and his brother because he was broke and homeless.

In the apartment, there were four of them. Fabian’s brothers went out on Sunday, leaving him and Emmanuel alone at home.

When they returned the next day, Monday, they saw blood stains all throughout the house, but they couldn’t find either of them.

Their phone numbers were also unreachable, and the deceased’s phone was also nowhere to found in the rooms in the house.

They thought they probably fought and got themselves injured, they also assumed the victim drove out after the fight. 

However, after several hours of waiting and no sign of them, they peeked through the victim’s window and discovered his lifeless body in the room.

They rushed to contact the cops, who burst down the door and discovered him dead.

The murderer is also said to have absconded with the deceased properties.
