Yaw Mensah, a 40-year-old man has reportedly killed his wife, Adwoa Frimpongmaa on the suspicion of being unfaithful to him in the early hours of Thursday, 6th September 2018 at their apartment in Ablekuma, a suburb of Accra.
According to the report, a tenant in the house saw stains of blood on the door of the Yaw Mensah and his wife, Adwoa Frimpongmaa and raised the alarm.

Speaking to reports, the landlord of the house, Barnabas Abban broke int the room and found Adwoa Frimpongmaa lying in a pool of blood and rushed her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Mr. Barnabas Abban lodged a complaint with the police immediately after he took the woman to the hospital.
When the police stormed the place to arrest Yaw Mensah, he was nowhere to be found. He was later caught hiding in the house’s bathroom where he was arrested. The machete he used to butcher his wife too was retrieved from the room.

According to the Land Lord, Barnabas Abban, the couple for a while now have constantly been fighting over infidelity issues.
The husband claims the wife is cheating on him with other men and the wife has been denying it for weeks now. It was on this same extramarital affair accusations that he butchered his wife to death.
