Beautiful Ghanaian actress, Martha Ankomah has hit back those social media feminists who think feminism is about rubbing shoulders and disrespecting men. According to Martha Ankomah, humility is critical to the success of any marriage.
The sensational actress in an interview has rubbished the stands of people like PepperDem Ministry who recently started a campaign against women cooking for their husbands.
According to Martha in a conversation with Bernice Owusuwaa on GhanaWeb’s “Showbiz Trendz”, Feminism is not about disrespecting your husband, boyfriend, and men in general just because we are in 2018.
Martha Ankomah explaining feminism said:
“Feminism is about standing for your rights. Being a feminist doesn’t mean you shouldn’t respect your husband or men and it’s not about not cooking for your husband. You just have to stand for your right. Stand for what is good and show humility”.
Martha Ankomah threw in a tip for married women who think the PepperDem way is the right way. The respected actress said:
“A good and happy relationship is basically about communication, how we communicate with our partners…you can’t talk to your husband anyhow and think because you’re a woman you’re right and no, there’s nothing wrong with cooking for your husband”.
Over the years, Martha Ankomah has earned the respect of Ghanaians with her talent, down to earth attitude, her religious stands and most importantly her decent way of dressing irrespective of the occasion.
