Viemens Bamfo is a 12-year-old boy who recently gained admission into the University Of Ghana.
Viemens gained admission into the nation’s premier university to study a long-distance course in Public Administration.
According to reports, Viemens was homeschooled by his father after his lower primary education at Akyem-Oda in the Eastern Region.
The 12-year-old student wrote the West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and passed with flying colors as a private candidate.
Viemens Bamfo was part of the over 2900 students that were matriculated over the weekend.

“We combined the syllabus, we used the Cambridge syllabus and the WASSCE syllabus so I understood some basic things about them”, Viemens disclosed in an interview when asked how he was able to pass his examination being homeschooled.
Viemens’ elder brother known as Edwin Bamfo was also homeschooled by their father and has currently graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as an Environmental Scientist at age 20.
