Hiplife musician, Peter Aryee, popularly known as Araz was once a mainstream artiste who scored big with his single Laimomo.
He struggled for attention after his maiden success, only to return with a number of other materials including ‘Everybody Hates Ghana’, ‘Oseyie’, ‘Ekan Titi Suban’, ‘Ghana Mmaa’, and ‘Ghana Bra Behywe Wekyi’.
Araz was shot and killed in 2014 in a chieftaincy dispute in Joma, a village in the Greater Accra Region.

4.Okyeame Kojo Kumi
Okyeame Kojo Kumi was well known for a song he got featured on titled “Twe Woho” by Obrafour. I must say,it is one of my favorite hiplife songs of all time and that was also the biggest break-through for him as a Hip-Life artist.
Okyeame Kojo Kumi has also released a couple of singles such as “Enye Me Nia” featuring the late Terry Bonchaka and few other collaborations which really did great in the music scene back then but, for some reasons, he took a long break from music.
He “kicked the bucket” after a prolonged illness that took him back and forth the hospital and made him undergo a series of surgeries. He could not hold on to the pain after his last surgery and surrender to his maker on February,2015.
