Over last weekend a worker with the Multimedia group Ohemaa Sakyiwaa was attacked by staunch NPP supporter Hajia Fati at the party’s headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra.
The presenter, who had gone to the NPP office to cover events surrounding an attempt by the suspended Vice Chairman of the party, Sammy Crabbe to pick nomination forms to contest for the chairmanship position in upcoming elections.
Reports suggested that Hajia Fati, after literally stopping Sammy Crabbe’s attempt, slapped Ohemaa Sakyiwaa in the face after she brought out her phone, apparently in a bid to film her.
According to Hajia Fati, she attacked Ohemaa Sakyiwaa because she looked liked an ‘onion seller’ rather than a journalist and she also did not take any permission from her to capture her.
