Princess Akua Ohenewaa is a Uk based Ghanaian musician popularly known as Stephanie Benson and is described as the queen of Jazz.
Stephanie is the elder sister to Akosua Agyapong, a prominent gospel artist and television personality in Ghana.

Stephanie is married to Mr John Benson, a rich white man who she met in London at the De beer film where Stephanie was working for her uncle.
They dated for three years and later got married in 1989. They have been blessed with five beautiful children ranging from 27 to 16 years.
The couple owns several firms like the Benson Entertainment Record Label and Chocolate Company. John is very supportive of Stephanie’s music career and is not bothered about criticisms aimed at Stephanie for her mode of dressing.

Stephanie was jabbed after releasing a music video of her song of her song “One more”which features dancehall artist, Samini. The musicians were seen touching each other sexually and that raised eyebrows.

In an interview, Stephanie disclosed that her husband is very secure and supportive. ” My husband is much secured. We were only acting and projecting what the song is saying . Just like movies we were acting. I can handle it and I didn’t expose myself. I am a singer and actress and this is just my artistic side”, she added.
