Actress Yvonne Nelson has revealed in an interview that all efforts to have a one on one chat with the first gentleman of the land President Akuffo Addo has proved futile due to the people who are the president.
According to Yvonne Nelson, some NPP bigwigs in masks have made it impossible for her to book an appointment with the president.
“I am a Ghanaian. I love the NDC and NPP. I have been trying to meet the president and I guess the people around him are making it difficult. Yeah I wanted to address him but I guess when the time is right I will meet him”, said Yvonne.

On why she wants to meet the president, the actress stated that:
“I am not too happy but at the right time, I will address it. I mean the movie industry. Also tourism, government, stuff about Ghana that I need to address. Maybe now they don’t take us seriously but they would”.

She continued that;
“We want to promote the tourism sector but the road networks are bad. I was on my way to Kakum National Park and I nearly returned so why would a tourist go through that. There are things that need to be addressed so when the time is right some of us will come up.
“We are entertainers they don’t believe us but when the time comes they will know”.
