Melania Trump arrived at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana, yesterday and the Donald Trump’s wife wore an outfit worth over £2,000 which is equivalent to 12,451 Ghana cedis.
According to the Mail Online, her Celine dress cost £1,541.08 (GHC9,338) and her Manolo Blahnik shoes cost £481.59(GHC2994).
The garment was from fashion brand Vince and was a mid-length suede trench-coat.
Flying via private jet, the First Lady wore dark sunglasses and her enormous wedding ring sparkled on her hand.
However, Melania had a change of outfit on the plane.
She stepped off the aircraft wearing a red and white striped dress with a pussy bow blouse style neck.
The 48-year-old wife of the United States president, Donald Trump arrived in Africa for her first ever solo international trip.
She arrived at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana, yesterday as it is the first country she has visited as part of the trip to promote her Be Best Campaign.
Melania revealed on Twitter, the mission of her visit to Africa which she wrote on her on 28 September:
“This year’s #UNGA reception was a success – thank you again to all who attended & @USAID for your support.
“Looking forward to spreading the message of #BeBest & representing the #USA as I travel to #Africa next week – #Ghana, #Malawi, #Kenya & #Egypt.”
She added: “Looking forward to working with @USAID to take my campaign #BeBest to Africa next week.
“Together, we can do great things on behalf of the next generation.”
On her visit to Ghana, Mrs. Melania Trump donated some items to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital as part of some activities to mark her visit to Ghana.
The items, presented to some nursing mothers and babies, are to promote her child welfare agenda announced in August, this year. Some of the items donated include baby products such as wipes, pomade, towel diapers, and oil.
