A Methodist preacher has labelled men who can’t cook as a disgrace to their various families and themselves as a whole.

According to Superintendent Minister for Bantama Methodist Church of Ghana in Kumasi, Very Reverend Samuel Kwaku Poku, it is unacceptable for a man not to know how to cook for himself and his family.

Speaking at the Methodist Women’s Fellowship mentorship programme for girls in the Bantama Circuit in Kumasi, Very Reverend Poku observed that only very urban males were able to manoeuvre their ways around the kitchen, something he deems as very unfortunate since there are many reasons for men to be kitchen-wise in this day and age.

The Very Reverend also added that men who know how to cook ensure that they eat healthy food and also provide relief for their wives who might not be able to be in the kitchen all the time.
