Speaking with Kwame Sefa Kayi on Peace Fm’s Kookrokoo morning show, NDC communicator, Opare Addo has revealed that there will be a mass burial in Ghana if by any chance Menzgold collapses.
According to Opare Addo, there are thousands of Ghanaians who have their saving with Menzgold including people who have their entire life savings with the gold deposit institution hence it should not be allowed to shut down.

The popular NDC communicator, Opare Addo added that if the government and institutions sit idle and watch Menzgold collapse, there will be a mass burial in Ghana because hundreds may lose their life from the shock of losing their investments.
Touching on the Securities and Exchange Commission directive to Menzgold authorizing them to shut down, Opare Addo revealed how SEC went about the entire process was very wrong since it just pressed the panic button which pushed hundreds to the company premises to retrieve their money.

He condemned how the letter to Menzgold got leaked online. Opare Addo questioned why Menzgold was allowed operate for over 2 years if they knew Menzgold was violating their operational permit.
He called on Government and institutions to be mindful of how the deal with Ghanaian own businesses because Ghanaian owned companies/businesses should always be protected
