“It shall be well” – Menzgold pleads with investors to be patient

"It shall be well" - Menzgold pleads with investors to exercise patience to 28th Sept 2018

Following the failure to meet the 19th September 2018 deadline, Menzgold has released a new press statement pleading with investors to exercise patience for Menzgold to continue their correspondence with the Securities and Exchanges Commission.

In a press statement released on 18th Septemeber 2018 and signed by the Head of Communication at Menzgold Ghana limited, George Quaye stated:

Following our correspondence with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), we regret to advise that the gold vault market product services will continue to be suspended until the 28th September 2018 to enable us to reach a useful conclusion with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The statement ended by telling investors to exercise patience and to continue supporting Menzgold. The last paragraph of the statement reads:

In a letter dated 7th September 2018, the Securities and Exchange Commission directed Menzgold to shut down operations for violating operation permit.

Menzgold initially played hardball and rubbished the notice but made a U-turn a few hours later and assured investors the situation will be rectified by today, Wednesday 19th September 2018.
