VRMG boss Edem has stated that his colleagues’ musicians now sing about sex because that is the new trend.
Edem who was speaking on Joy Prime in an interview said “I don’t know why people still think that artistes are secular. It has to be an idea that people have to get rid of. Musicians are just creative persons are a vehicle to convey messages”.

He went on to state that “Every time all you represent is the effect of your immediate environment. When artistes are singing about peace, you automatically know it is an election year”.
“So when people sing about sex it means that is the true state of the country, when people sing about religion it means that is the state of the society.”
