Speaking in an interview on Hitz Fm with Andy Dosty, the “Bawasaba” hitmaker stated that anytime he steps foot in Jamaica, they regard him as one of their own making them find it difficult to accept it when he tells them he is a Ghanaian because of how he is rooted in their culture and how good he can speak their language (patois)
“They don’t believe I am outright Ghanaian. I am an African and we know the root culture and vibes, a Jamaican is a Jamaican but then they say I speak Patois than some of them…” he said.
