Most Jamaicans Don’t Believe Am An Outright Ghanaian – Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla is a 27-time award winning Ghanaian Afro-pop, dancehall and reggae artiste as well as a Grammy Nominee who hails from the Volta Region. Born on March 5, 1988, in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra.

The Ghanaian dancehall act, Boss of Bhimnation and Zylofon Music act Stonebwoy has disclosed in an interview that anytime he visits Jamaica or any other country, they hardly believe he is from Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz Fm with Andy Dosty, the “Bawasaba” hitmaker stated that anytime he steps foot in Jamaica, they regard him as one of their own making them find it difficult to accept it when he tells them he is a Ghanaian because of how he is rooted in their culture and how good he can speak their language (patois)

“They don’t believe I am outright Ghanaian. I am an African and we know the root culture and vibes, a Jamaican is a Jamaican but then they say I speak Patois than some of them…” he said.
