The Coronavirus after its outbreak and spread has left many in fear as they take very preclusive measures not to by any means get in contact with this deadly viral disease.

In view of this, the member of parliament for Kumbungu in the Northern Region of Ghana, Ras Mubarak has asked for the president of the Republic of Ghana to be quarantined on his return from the Europe tour.

As it is known, President, Nana Akufo-Addo traveled to Europe for a tour in some selected countries including Norway and the United Kingdom.

The MP is of the reason that Nana Addo went to Europe where there have been confirmed cases of coronavirus, hence his plea.

Speaking on the floor of parliament earlier today in a sitting, Ras Mubarak made mention of a similar incident in Mongolia where their President, Khaltmaa Battulga has been isolated for the protection of the citizenry after his return from a visit to China.

What measures are being put in place to ensure that the Rt Honorable Speaker, the staff of parliament and members of parliament are not at any risk of contracting the coronavirus,” he asked.
