Mubarak Wakaso apologizes for insulting the sports Minister, Nii Lantey
According to sources, he was infuriated for reasons yet to be uncovered according to a report on Takoradi-based Spice Fm and reportedly vented his spleen on Nii Lantey before the goalless drawn game.
The Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, has however rendered an unqualified apology to the Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuije for his allegedly insulting him.
The midfielder, who had an altercation with the minister prior to Friday’s world cup qualifier with Uganda in Tamale, reportedly openly rained insults on the minister to the shock of his colleagues and officials of the team.

After the game, he is said to have pleaded with GFA executive committee member Jones Abu Alhassan to lead other senior members of the Black Stars including the captain, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu and himself to say sorry to the sports minister.
Sources close to the minister, disclosed that the truce meeting took place at team’s hotel after the game around 8pm on Friday October 7, 2016.
