We reported that actress Nayas had stormed the studios of Adom FM on Monday, May 14, to lash gospel singer Ernest Opoku during a live worship programme.
Nayas reportedly stormed the studios where Ernest was having a live worship programme and while it was still ongoing, started caning him and all he could say was to shout “Ajeeeeei”, revealing the pain.
Her action has left many people wondering on social media and among members of the general public why she did that and what could actually be the reason for her action.
Many listeners who were tuned in to Adom FM heard the commotion on live radio and reportedly ran to the station to see things for themselves.
Ernest Opoku who felt bitter about the physical abuse which he suffered at the hands of actress Nayas filed a formal complaint against her with the Nima Police yesterday few hours after the incidence.
He has reportedly said in an interview on Hitz FM that he blames the lashing saga on the poor state of security at Multimedia.
Ernest Opoku added that Multimedia also failed to take proper care over the attack, and urged the station to take responsibility for their negligence which has caused his disgrace.
Nayas had reportedly lied to the front desk executive that she was part of the backing vocalists and she was allowed into the studio.
But this is what Ernest Opoku had to say about Nayas and the whole lashing saga:
“I know what Multimedia has done for some gospel artists like myself so I don’t charge for any live worship event I attend at the reputable media firm but what happened to me yesterday was such disappointing and unpleasant.
“I was in the studio of Adom FM when the girl rushed in. I was even making a call and couldn’t see the lady walked in. I only realized she was present in the studio when she started lashing me severally but I didn’t retaliate. Multimedia was unable to protect me when the lady barged into the studio. If Nayas should have come with a gun or an acid, I would have been dead by now!
“If Multimedia doesn’t take responsibility for this case I will be disappointed in them. Multimedia didn’t protect me… I give everything to God.
“Ghanaians should watch her pregnancy carefully since she said she is pregnant for 3 months. I won’t lay my hands on her but I leave everything to God.”
