Veteran sound engineer Edward Nana Poku Osei popularly known in the showbiz industry as Da Hammer and known for introducing acts such as Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese, Tinny etc has shared his sad experience as a music producer.
Da Hammer who has now left the studio to sell bread on the streets in an interview on Accra-based Kasapa 102.5FM on ‘Di Wu Lane Mu’ Show hosted by Kwame B explained the reason why he left the music studio and street to sell A1 bread on the street.
According to the now bread seller, all his day as a music producer or sound engineer didn’t bring money into his pocket but brought him only fans hence his decision to drop music making for bread selling.
“Music only got me more fans than money that is why I decided to do the bread business”, Hammer said.
The legendary music producer some time ago announced that he is quitting music production and venturing into full-time bread selling since that brings more money than the music production.
Hammer who is the CEO of the Last Two entertainment helped to bring out some of the household names we have in Ghana with his music compilation.
